Kanchanamala issue, the director have a few words to tell us as well

The recent issue that become a topic of discussion in social media platforms about Malayalam cinema was involving Kanchanamala and actor Dileep. It was all against the team behind the film Ennu Ninte Moideen including director RS Vimal, the financers of the film and actor Prithviraj as well. The issue all started when the team behind the film is reportedly neglected Kanchanamala and her dream of setting up a memorial for Moideen under the title Moideen Seva Mandir.
The flick is a huge success based on her real life story and amassing crores of rupees from box office. For her it is only the case of 10 to 15 lakhs for a building to set up the Moideen Seva Mandir. But nobody came to help her. Then came our popular actor Dileep with his helping hands and he offered to make a new building for Kanchanamala and her Moideen Seva Mandir which is now in a little shed which is degenerated. Dileep also came to Mukkam today and met her in this regard. There is great protest going on against the team of the film for neglecting Kanchanamala. But the director Vimal has a few words to say to us regarding this issue.

Review of Amar Akbar Anthony

totally comedy entertainer by Nadirdhsha

When Nadirsha reunites the Classmates team, nothing short of a comedy bonanza can be expected. Amar Akbar Anthony is out-and-out laughter ride with some quick wits and crackers. The movie gained a lot from Nadirsha’s vast experience in situational comedy from mimicry arena. The director manages to execute the fun through capsules of scenes and enjoys a wonderful rapport and support from his lead actors. The smooth workflow between the first time director and his lead actors is the unique selling proposition of the movie and the same makes it a strong contender in the box office race.
The movie is all about the chaotic lives of three men, Amar played by Prithviraj, Akbar played by Jayasurya, and Anthony played by Indrajith. The plot evolved around their attitude towards life and the sizzling background of Kochi city also plays an important role in the narration. The three characters represent a fast moving and easy going generation which stops for nothing and turns for nothing. They are celebrating every moment of their life as if it is the last moment of their existence.
The only emotional chord that connects them with the realities of life is a little kid Pathu. The film tries to capture how a simple incident in the trio’s life causes a drastic change in their point of views and lifestyles. Among the three heroes, Prithviraj looks really pumped up and Jayasurya looks funnier. Indrajith plays his cool as always. All of them play with almost perfect Kochi slang. The three actors have successfully worked out an amazing chemistry between them and that supports the movie which goes blank at places.
Namitha Pramod plays Jenny, whom the trio to woo. Srindha Ashab also played a powerful role as the mother of Pathu. Namitha looks stunning in some scenes which the trio falls for her. She has a wonderful onscreen chemistry with Prithviraj. Actress Iniya comes and goes for a song and nothing more than an add on to the masala of the movie. Nadirsha seems determined to deliver an entertainer without digging too much deeper and he does that without any beginner’s stumbling. KPAC Lalitha, Bindu Panicker and Priyanka who plays Amar, Akbar and Anthony’s mothers respectively, did a cool job.  Kalabhavan Shajon, Noby, and Ramesh Pisharady join the laughter riot with their unique styles.
The comedy sequences are well written and performed. The movie goes on top gear from the kickoff and the script maintains same momentum all the way to a racy climax. While Nadirsha’s tunes are keeping the energy level high, Bijibal rocks the show with his pulsating background score. The movie keeps an entertainer scale in all the other departments. Amar Akbar Anthony is laughter guaranteed and a perfect masala that tastes better for those who love fun and naughtiness.
